Cake Maker and Confectioner

**Coburn & Baker** is an established and growing artisan bakery. We have been operating in Brighton since 2000. We have a new and modern facility in Brighton.

We are looking for a Confectioner/cake baker and decorator with a long term commitment, passion for baking and with high standards of craftmanship.

We bake a rich variety of cakes, tarts, traybakes and other desserts including Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten free products.

We are a wholesale craft bakery delivering throughout Sussex. Our bakery operates 24/7, offering a unique service for catering establishments.

The job will consist of mixing mixes from scratch, following our recipes, baking, decorating, making fillings and toppings and some savoury preparation and baking.

Shifts are normally 7-8 hours long, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30/4pm.

**Salary**: Starting hourly rate £11-£12 per hour. We will be happy to discuss a better rate for a highly skilled confectioner.
