Job description
- About the Role:
As part of the Apprenticeship Programme, you will undertake the necessary duties to assist you in achieving the Level 3 apprenticeship in HR Support.

You will deal with all aspects of the HR Teams’ work,. You will provide an effective and quality service to both customers of Maidstone Borough Council and internal departments and support the team in dealing with all enquiries.

You will primarily be based at our offices in Maidstone, however some occasional travel to Sittingbourne may be required.

This is a full-time position on a fixed term contract for 18 months.

The HR team will be committed in helping you achieve your qualification, by providing you support and giving you opportunities to work on different and interesting HR projects. Look at what our previous HR Apprentice thought of their experience with us:
“I would definitely recommend Maidstone Borough Council for an apprenticeship opportunity. When I started my HR apprenticeship, I had little knowledge of the world of HR; with the help from my team and attending weekly courses I have gained a wide variety of skills and experience which have helped me begin building my HR career. I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and help implement change. No day is the same from recruitment to training coordination I have been able to experience many HR areas. The team have been incredible with supporting my qualification and day to day working, providing knowledge and guidance when needed.”
