We are looking for a GP Assistant to join us. This is an exciting opportunity and the successful post holder will need to have excellent administrative, communication skills and great IT experience. The Practice prides itself on good patient care and this post supports this. The main duties of the role will be to provide excellent and accurate administration services for the Practice. Training will be given to the successful applicant but previous GP Practice experience, knowing the IT systems, may be an advantage.

General Practice Assistants (GPAs) form part of a multi-disciplinary team within primary care and support the clinicians in the smooth running of the surgery by handling routine administration and some basic clinical duties enabling the clinician to focus on the patient. Ultimately the aim is to improve the patient’s access/experience in Practice.

You will be supported to complete the structured development programme for this role.
