**What will you be doing?**
✩ Reporting directly to the HR Advisor, providing a wide range of general administrative duties, and using HR systems to keep accurate records in line with current legislation.
✩ Always adhering to the Data Protection Act 2018 to maintain confidentiality of employee related information and data.
✩ Building strong relationships within the HR team and all levels of employees across the business.
✩ Developing your knowledge by keeping up to date with changes to employment law and combining your learning with day-to-day HR practices.
✩ Assist in ensuring the organisation's compliance with legal requirements related to HR practices.
**The Nitty Gritty**
Payroll:
✩ Collate data from the HR system relevant to new starters, absences, leavers, overtime, and administrative changes in preparation for payroll.
✩ Ensuring completion of all administrative duties relevant to the onboarding & offboarding processes, including but not limited to:
- Offer letters and contracts.
- Resignation acknowledgments.
- Reference requests.
- Uploading and removal of employees to all relevant HR systems and payroll spreadsheets ensuring data accuracy.
**HR Administration & Systems Use**:
✩ Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records on all related HR systems, including personal information, attendance, and leave records.
✩ Prepare and process HR documents.
✩ Managing both the electronic and physical employee files, to ensure all documentation is complete and in compliance with UK legislation and company policies.
✩ Generate HR reports as needed, including headcount reports, turnover analysis, and other HR metrics.
✩ Completing monthly, quarterly, and yearly audits on the HR Management system Bob to ensure correct data.
✩ Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
✩ Support HR initiatives to promote a positive work environment and employee engagement.
✩ Handle basic employee inquiries and escalate issues to the HR Advisor when necessary.
✩ Maintain a professional and approachable demeanour to foster positive employee relations.
✩ Engage, Promote, and assist with employee Engagement strategies and initiatives.
**The Skillset**
✩ Educated to at least GCSE standard with five passes at Grade C (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
Abilities Skills and Knowledge:
✩ Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
✩ Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.
✩ Attention to detail and accuracy.
✩ Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
✩ Possession of a confident but helpful manner
✩ The ability to always maintain confidentiality and in all circumstances
✩ Ability to work on own initiative, working under pressure
