Exceptional care is looking for someone to work as a senior member of the team in the provision of care in our home Preston and support services for people with emotional and challenging behaviours. During your duties you will be expected to lead and plan your team whilst on shift and take responsibility for supervision of the staff.

Exceptional Care are a residential childcare company that are passionate about helping young people throughout their life. We work with young children with emotional behaviour disorders. We offer a great environment for our young people to live and grow and a fantastic place for you to work.

Your role

Your role will be organising activities for young people helping with appointments, making food for the young person and offering a safe and positive environment for them to live. The children who are in our homes are aged from 7-17 years old and have Emotional Behaviour Disorder (EBD). As a Team Leader you will be responsible for organising the team of skilled care workers, planning shifts and planning days. Required
- Diploma Level 3 in Children & Young peoples workforce or equivalent
- 12 months Residential Childcare Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of issues relating to children and young people with emotional and challenging behaviours
- Car driver, willing to use own car as required
