**About The Role**
The Placement Support Officer role is to provide high quality, efficient and effective placement administrative support for Team Manager, and placement Officers. Working collaboratively with team members you will be responsible for placement support. Applicants will also need excellent written and spoken communication, attention to detail and be expected to have good time management skills, with the ability to work creatively and effectively to a variety of deadlines, working on their own initiative but also as part of a team. **Key Responsibilities**:
1.Ensuring all placements follow the legal requirements.
2.Recording and management of all placement data
3.Assisting placement officers with identifying and securing placements.
4.Management of placement paperwork
**Your Skills**:
1.Highly organised
2.Good numerical skills
3.Excellent attention to detail
4.Excellent written and verbal communication
**Essential for the Role**:
1.Enhanced DBS check is required
This post is considered by the authority to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers. The council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
