As Senior Visitor Services Assistant, your role will be to support the Assistant Manager (Visitor Services) in supervising the Visitor Services Team and in the management of Haigh Woodland Park Visitor Centre.

You will work alongside the wider Management Team and play an important part in improving Haigh Woodland Park.

The Senior Visitor Services Assistant will take a lead role in the delivery of a number of important Visitor Services functions. Including supervising the day-to-day Golf Course administration and back-office systems, managing direct debit memberships and communication with golf users.

You will supervise the delivery of visitor centre-based car park services including reporting maintenance issues and providing reports for management.

The Senior Visitor Services Assistant will supervise general and financial administration, support with the management of the Park’s social media and play a key part in event delivery.

You will help management liaise with Park Stakeholders. This role will include supporting the management and attending meetings on occasions with management and or on behalf of management.

This role includes key holder responsibilities, opening and closing the Visitor Centre.

You will be flexible, and have the ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Due to the seasonal nature of the role, this is an annualised hours position. The postholder will work to agreed shift patterns with alternating rotas.

**About you**:
You will be educated to GCSE level, including Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent or demonstrable evidence of the required literacy or numeracy skills.

You will have experience in the use of IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

You will have good decision-making skills along with the ability to work in a very busy customer faced environment.

You will have commitment to delivering excellent standards of customer care.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and high standards of personal presentation and appearance.

An interest or knowledge of golf will be useful.
