About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing an excellent meal service to our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food to high standards, adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
  • Work as part of a busy team to meet deadlines and deliver a high-quality service.
  • Undertake a range of duties, including food preparation, cleaning, and meal service duties within the kitchens and retail outlets.
  • Complete audit forms associated with food safety and financial policy & procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with patients, staff, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
