About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing an excellent meal service to our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a busy team to prepare and serve food in our kitchens and retail outlets.
  • Undertake a range of duties including food preparation, cleaning, and meal service duties.
  • Ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained at all times.
  • Work to tight deadlines and meet the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
