Bournbrook Varsity Medical Centre is a busy GP Practice in Birmingham near to the University. We are professional, fast-paced and customer-centric.

Working hours are 1.00pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
As a GP Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing the patient flow within the Medical Centre. You will also ensure professional and courteous customer service to patients, staff and visitors.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet incoming patients and visitors and assess their needs
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and other staff
- Manage patient records and confidential data in a secure and efficient manner
- Monitor online traffic and assist with online booking systems
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all patients
- Assist with general administrative and clerical duties
- Carry out other tasks as assigned by the Reception Line Manager
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a GP reception or customer-facing role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and friendly customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency with experience in EMIS, Docman, AccuRx & Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, work independently and take initiative
- Ability to follow and adhere to office practices and procedures
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 27.5 per week
**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour
