We are recruiting for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Advisor to join our diverse and inclusive team for a permanent role based in Bristol.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver first-class HR services providing first line HR support to a fast-growing technology business. This is a varied role as you will provide HR support on all operational elements from general queries, parental leave, on-boarding and leavers through to references. You will help implement our people strategy across HR activities as diverse as resourcing, reward, training and development, employment law, visa support, internal communications, engagement and wellness programmes.

**Key Responsibilities**: Act as a partner and advisor to our line manager team. Build influential and respectful relationships by providing trusted advice and proactive challenge for our colleagues. Support hiring managers in choosing and using the best selection processes for their roles. Coach and support line managers to develop their teams Support employee communication and engagement, ensuring that our employees understand our business strategy, our annual priorities and how we all contribute to our business success Support the HRD in building a talent plan for our business. Drive the long-term strategy to develop apprentices, internships and graduates Develop and deliver strategies and plans to support our employees' physical and mental wellbeing. This includes the coordination of our Occupational Health support Deliver an impressive HR Service to people managers and employees, including advice on contracts, organisational change, performance management, employee relations, absence management and HR compliance, all in line with our OI values Support onboarding activities, including HR inductions and coordination of events for new employees Pro-actively analyse management information to provide insight and facilitate decision making on people matters. Ensure an efficient, compliant HR Administration process, from managing employee electronic files to personal data in line with GDPR regulations and associated legislation Be an active member of the Oxford Instruments Group HR team Keep yourself and our business up to date with legal, competitive and professional developments Work with the rest of our HR Team to understand their roles and be able to provide holiday cover to maintain our levels of service.

**Education / Qualifications**: HR related Degree and/ CIPD qualification, minimum level 5

**Professional Skills/ Abilities**:
Coaching/mentoring/supporting line managers and employees.
Experience working in a generalist, shared services or similar team providing HR expertise.
Strong administration skills and attention to detail
