A rare opportunity has arisen, for a **HR & Facilities Manager** to join an excellent company. In this exciting and challenging position, you will report directly to the CEO and be involved in the responsibility for the day to day running ofthe head office. This includes developing new initiatives and ensuring departmental KPI’s are achieved.

Working with a company who buy and supply to the building, plumbing and timber trade, you will manage all the HR requirements of the Society to ensure compliance, best practice

and total confidentially.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage HR requirements: Recruitment - role summaries/advert, liaising with agencies // Disciplinary and grievance matters, to achieve satisfactory conclusion // Administration of managing all records i.e., holiday, sickness, absence, benefits etc // Supportand monitor new legislation to provide HR advice as require // Coaching and performance reviews // General further ad hoc HR requirements e.g., maternity leave
- Oversee the opening & distribution of post and manage all deliveries to the office
- Act as board secretary, book hotels & catering, prepare management report packs, co-ordinate meetings, take minutes etc.
- Annual General Meetings - attend and prepare for AGMs, take minutes, and liaise with the CEO to ensure all paperwork is registered correctly.
- To negotiate and manage all of the company insurance policies
- To promote and encourage staff & management understanding of Investors In People
- Keep abreast of Health & Safety legislation, manage the H&S safety requirements.
- Ensure the building is well maintained, negotiate contracts and services required
- Control the company vehicle fleet; service providers, tax, MOT, insurance
- Research suitable training providers, negotiate prices, source funding, manage and deliver in house training where appropriate
- Implement key projects identified within the business plan, offer new ideas
- Provide secretarial and general support to the CEO & directors as required
- Support to the Senior Management team as required
- To provide any other duties deemed appropriate to effectively fulfil the role
- Educated to graduate level/similar qualification or qualified by experience.
- Willingness to work outside contracted hours

**This is a full-time office-based position, 8:30 - 5:00pm. Monday to Friday, offering a level of flexibility around the hours**
