**Job Title: Medical Records Clerk - 37.5 hrs per week**

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- The pulling and filing of case notes into and out of the Central Records Libraries
- Preparing case notes for outpatient clinics
- Preparing case notes for transportation to off-site scanning bureau
- Retrieval and delivery of case notes to wards and clinical departments
- General admin duties within Medical Records
- General maintenance and housekeeping of the libraries
- Administration duties within the Hospital Post Room
- A degree of physical effort is required for this role

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Previous clerical experience including filing, telephone work, good IT skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organisational skills.
