**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- To provide a typing service by means of audio/copy typing, ensuring all appropriate investigations are organised and dealt with correctly and within necessary time span.
- General office duties, collecting/taking post to general office, pulling and tracking of notes, filing. Dropping off request forms to swabbing hub daily.
- Accurately record telephone messages ensuring that action is taken appropriately.
- Provide audio typing/clerical and administrative work supporting the Admin/Clinical team so that patient’s requiring outpatient consultation/Inpatient stay do so in a streamlined process that matches their needs to that of the referring Consultant, GP or other Healthcare Professional.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- System Knowledge - Careflow, winvoice digital dictation
- Audio typing experience
- Strong admin skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent IT skills
- Microsoft office
- word, outlook and excel
