**Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant - Leeds**

Engage Education are currently looking to recruit a number of trainee teaching assistants to work in a variety of settings which may include mainstream and specialist schools.

We are wanting to hear from people from a range of backgrounds: health and social care, youth work, sports coaching etc.

We are partnered with a training provider called Creative Education which offers a range of online learning for those wanting to work within education.

In addition to this we also offer a Team Teach training course which teachespositive behaviour management strategies emphasising de-escalation and positive handling in conflict management.

We will ensure you have completed the required training course prior to your first placement in a school.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week (5 days per week is desirable).
- Willing to work with learners of all age groups and abilities including those with SEN.
- Committed to learning both online, in person and on the job.
- Enthusiastic and the ability to be proactive and engaging when in school
- The ability to build rapport with young people
