**Lecturer - Supported Learning**
Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Learning Lecturer to teach and lead our life skills and employability skills programme at our Cambridge Campus.

**The role is to lead on the teaching, learning and assessment of our students with severe, moderate and specific learning needs delivering lessons in small group settings.** All students follow a core timetable with some personalised elements.

Based at the Cambridge you will be part of a supportive, welcoming team of professionals.

**You will need to be a qualified teacher or FE lecturer with experience in teaching students with SEN needs such as SLD, ASD, MLD and SEMH barriers. ** We are looking for a creative, self-starters who enjoy designing practical projects to help students explore their skills through practical themes.

You will be an excellent communicator who can work collaboratively with staff members and have clear vision and expectation for high quality teaching, learning, assessment and mentoring.

Ideally you will have experience of delivering and assessing accredited qualifications and non-accredited programmes (RARPA).

We are particularly interested in staff who can offer specialisms in the creative industries, including drama, music, detail media as well as be able to teach English and maths skills at entry and level 1. Preference will be given to applicants that are familiar with using Apple Mac computers and the suite of programmes that support media and music making, such as, Photoshop and ProLogic and that are confident in teaching English from Entry 3 to Level 1 functional skills.

**Qualifications: PGCE or DTLLS, DET plus Level 2 in English and maths.**

**Salary**: £25,631.00-£35,564.00 per year
