We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Job Coach. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing work-related support to individuals participating in Supported Internships and Vocational Pathways. The primary focus will be on learners with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities, guiding and assisting them to perform their job responsibilities accurately, efficiently, and safely.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Engaging with employers to secure sufficient and realistic employment opportunities for Supported Internship learners.
- Understanding the concept of Vocational Profiling, negotiating job descriptions that meet employer needs and align with the skills and abilities of the learners.
- Using systematic instruction to support interns in their work experience or employment.
- Implementing support plans to enable learners to become competent in their work and related skills.
- Keeping accurate records of job coaching support provided.
- Acquiring or completing risk assessments as needed.
- Providing or arranging on-the-job training in work settings.
- Undertaking travel training with learners.
- Co-ordinating the Travel Training programme in collaboration with the Local Authority Project leader and travel trainers to prepare Supported Learners for travel to college or a place of work.
- Liaising with the Access to Work Coordinator and personal tutor, acting as a link between employer needs and College, especially regarding literacy and numeracy needs.
