**Recruitment and Retention Assistant - Bromley - 3 Months - £11.37 Per Hour - Hybrid**
VNA have partnered with a Bromley based organisation who are currently recruiting for a Recruitment and Retention Assistant to support their Talent Acquisition team on all things Recruitment and Retention. This rare and exciting opportunity is initiallyfor three months. However, this could be extended. You will only be required to attend the Office for meetings / as and when required by your Line Manager. Your focus and priority will be on the roles deemed "hard to fill".
**Responsibilities of the Recruitment and Retention Assistant**:
- Work with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure that managers receive a seamless recruitment service for temporary workers and permanent staff.
- Liaise directly with recruitment agencies via the Managed Service Provider for the procurement of agency staff, ensuring that any additional requirements are adhered to (for example The London Pledge for locum qualified Children’s Social Care recruitment).
- Support with invigilation of written tests/in-tray exercises in regard to permanent recruitment as requested by the Organisational Development Lead.
- Support with the organisation of No-Quit Interviews and Exit Interviews.
- Assist in planning and organising targeted recruitment events such as job fairs, open days etc.
- Provide support to the Organisational Development Lead in relation to talent acquisition and talent management projects including the Council’s Apprenticeship Programme and Graduate Internship Scheme.
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of the post, as required to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of HR services.
**Requirements**:
- Organise, prioritise, and maintain a busy and ever-changing workload.
- Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally to internal and external stakeholders.
- Accurately collate and present information to colleagues
- Display a flexible and customer-focused approach.
- Able to work effectively within a team as well as individually
- Recruitment background within Public Sector or agency.
- Confident in the use of IT packages, especially Microsoft Office
