- Carrying out monthly reconciliations
- Processing of journals and supporting with monthly reporting
- Assisting with accruals and the month end process
- Working with Excel on a daily basis
- Dealing with queries and resolving them in a timely manner
- Assisting with the credit control process and comfortable making outbound calls
- Responsible for the company fleet invoices and dealing with the administrative side
- Looking after on-site meeting rooms and planning meetings for the company and organising business meetings and travel when needed

To be successful in this Finance Assistant role, individuals will ideally:

- Have previous experience within a transactional finance based role or a high volume administrative environment and will have an interest in a role that includes finance duties
- Be immediately available or on a short notice period
- Be able to work towards targets and deadlines whilst retaining a high level of attention to detail
- Have strong IT skills and will be comfortable with Excel and will be able to carry out Pivots and V-lookups
- Be enthusiastic, confident and keen to learn new skills
- Be able to work in a fast paced, ever changed environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,500.00 per year
