Prospectus is excited to be supporting our client, a leading London University to recruit a temporary Research Projects Coordinator to provide high-quality, efficient and reliable project support to the department. The post will be full time (35 hours perweek), and will be hybrid working of a minimum of two days onsite (Tuesday/Wednesday) and the rest remote.

The Research Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Chief Investigator with a range of administrative tasks relating to two established research projects, including:

- Communicating effectively and managing relationships with research programme partners.
- Coordinate committee meetings, liaise with independent external committee members, prepare meeting paperwork, write meeting minutes.
- Liaise with programme partners to coordinate and prepare content for drafting reports.
- Attend regular Trial Management Group meetings
- Prepare material for external communications e.g. tweeting and website.
- Monitor the programme budget, liaise with programme research finance accountant regarding financial transactions to ensure the project stays within budget, coordinate programme partner and trial site invoices for payment.
- Liaise with finance management for budget reconciliations.
- Contract management - liaise with the contracts team to initiate sub-funding agreements to international project partners, and other contracts pertaining to data and biological material transfers.
- Become familiar with the research management systems Business World Finance and WorkTribe contract management (full training will be provided).
- Process payments to external collaborators

In order to be considered for this post, you will have previous experience within a similar role, ideally within a university, or comparative organisation. A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft packages is essential, along with strong record keepingand filing skills, you will have previous experience of overseeing or tracking/monitoring budgets. You will need to have excellent organisational and communication skills, along with managing and prioritising a varied workload, whilst working well under pressureand demonstrating a flexible attitude to work. You will have experience of committee administration, including agenda management and preparing high quality and succinct minutes of meetings.
