**The role in short**

The MC Warehouse is one of two Plumbworld fulfilment operations, focused on the receipt and despatch of small (under 30kg) UK supplied products. Working as part of a dedicated MC team this role will fulfil all requirements of the warehouse operation; responsibilities include unloading deliveries, receipting stock, stock put away, stock replenishment, picking, packing and the despatch of customer orders.

**Hours**:37.5 hours per week contract available:
- Monday - Friday, 10:00 - 18:00

**Salary**:£14.50 per hour

**Onto the nitty gritty**

**Working as an MC Warehouse Specialist you will be required to: -**
- Safely unload supplier deliveries
- Check and validate supplier deliveries against supplier paperwork and book into WMS.
- Put stock away in designated locations, breaking down pallets for storage, when required.
- Complete daily replen routine which requires stock transfer from pallet and existing locations into variable locations using necessary equipment.
- Picking stock in the warehouse using forklift / powered pallet trucks equipment to fulfil a variety of orders.
- Accurately update the warehouse system using handheld terminals when picking products.
- Report all damage / QC issues to the relevant team members, ensuring the system accurately reflects the location of the stock
- Ensure warehouse processes are followed correctly when picking and dropping products off at the packing stations
- Validate that all products are correct to the customer order
- Check product quality to ensure the stock is to the required standard
- Escalate discrepancies with team and organise replacement items
- Pack products to warehouse standards, utilising the correct equipment and packing materials
- Ensure products are labelled correctly and despatched safely through the appropriate system
- Prepare all orders for collection by DHL and Royal Mail
- Load all orders, ensuring the orders are stored safely for transit
- Fulfil other duties, in support of the operation, as and when required or requested by the MC Team Leader and / or Plumbworld Operations Manager

**We’d like to meet someone with...**
- Experience of working in different Warehouse areas / functions preferred
- FLT licences required (Reach / Counter / Bendi) but full training available
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail especially when working in high pressured environments
- Conscientious and reliable, can work cooperatively in a team to meet daily demands
- Clear concise communication skills, comfortable communicating with team and other departments
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Capable of working under own initiative
- Ability to follow set and repetitive daily routines
