**The Old Hall Ely **is a superb country retreat within a mile of the heart of historic Ely in Cambridgeshire. This recently renovated Jacobean manor house, with stunning views over lakes to Ely Cathedral, offers all that is best in English Country House hospitality. From sumptuous Bed & Breakfast accommodation, real food inspired by tradition, to rooms to hire for Private Events and Weddings.

We are offering part time positions with shifts including weekends & evenings for a Room Attendant in The Old Hall Ely to be part of our friendly housekeeping team delivering an excellent guest and member experience. As a room attendant you will be at the heart of making sure every guest has the best possible experience, sleeping in a hotel that’s cleaned to the highest of standards.

What is expected?
- Liaise with Head Housekeeper to ensure all rooms, house and guest areas are cleaned in conjunction with guests check-in/departures
- Maintain clean rooms by vacuuming, polishing, providing linen services, dusting, cleaning to a high standard and performing other duties as advised by the Senior Housekeeping team
- Deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness, look after guests needs and maintain a polite and courteous attitude
- Replenish linen and guest supplies
- Provide an excellent guest experience
- Reporting any defects such as faults and any areas of concern

**Skills**:

- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning
- Time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to interact with coworkers and supervisors

Experience as a housekeeper or laundry assistant is preferred but not essential
- Have an exceptional eye for detail
- Have a friendly & caring attitude
