**JOB TITLE** Out Of Hours Operations Co-ordinator
**LOCATION** Hesketh Bank, Preston
**SALARY** £22,000 - £24,150 per annum
**HOURS** **40 hours per week, rolling shift pattern to include nights & weekends days**
GBA Services are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and engaging team players to join their busy office based at Hesketh Bank, Preston.
**The role**:
Logistics Operations Coordinator in the Out of Hours team oversees our transport operation outside of traditional business hours.
We are on the road 24/7 so the support that we can offer our customers and drivers during this time is of particular importance to us.
You will be working as part of a team in a busy environment where no day is the same, guaranteed.
As well as supporting our UK based customers, our Out of Hours also provides service to our European subsidiaries in Poland, Austria, Germany and Portugal.
**Some if the things that you will do**:
Help ensure all deliveries are made within the correct time
Ensure each load is monitored and updates are sent to the customers.
To assist with customer/ driver queries in a helpful, timely and professional manner
Work within a small team providing smooth handovers to and from other team members
**You will be**:
Proficient in the use of IT systems but full training will be provided with all inhouse systems.
Good knowledge external systems - Outlook and Excel
Experienced working within a transport setting
Knowledgeable of UK /EU driving hours laws and restrictions
Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team - sound judgement when dealing with enquiries.
Be able to plan and organise your and others time and workload
