**Community Fundraiser**:
We are looking for a Community Fundraiser to join Samaritans during an exciting period of growth in our community & streaming programme. You’ll be creative, organized and a great relationship builder with excellent communication skills to engage with a range of community audiences in a clear and confident way.

You’ll work in a small team to drive the delivery of a community fundraising programme to help grow our supporter base and maximise income potential and build lasting relationships with Samaritans.

This could be an excellent opportunity for someone to gain exposure and experience to advance their skill set. Samaritans’ community & events fundraising team play an important role in generating the long-term sustainable income needed to ensure Samaritans can continue to deliver its life-saving services now and in the future.

Over the past five years we’ve taken a test and learn approach to product development, significantly growing our income, and with exciting plans in 2023/24 this is set to continue. We are aspirational for Samaritans, striving to deliver the best supporter experiences for our passionate and dedicated supporters. We’re also a supportive team, there for each other, seeking out insights and developing our skills. We look forward to finding out more about you.

**The Person**

We are looking for a people person with the ability to lead, develop and support individuals and organisations. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator, be adaptable to changing priorities and have a good understanding of digital marketing. You’ll have experience of working with charity supporters in a fundraising environment and an understanding of databases and processes.

Further details regarding the contract are given below:

- Permanent Contract
- We will consider Part time or Full time working requests, with flexible working practices
- £28,000 to £30,000 per annum (FTE)
- Hybrid working - This role is ‘linked’ to our central office (Ewell), with home working.
