Project Coordinator

We are recruiting on behalf of our large manufacturing client based in Heywood for the position of Project Coordinator.

Requirements of a Project Coordinator:

- Responsible from project design until customer acceptance for the co-ordination and completion of a quality product within budget and schedule parameters to pre-determined deadlines.
- Follow and adhere to the project timeline
- Establishing and maintaining reporting lines and structures to specific existing and new clients.
- Establish and maintain KPI’s and other relevant measures
- Ensure consistency across all phases of the build
- Work closely with Engineering, Production & Purchasing
- Maintain mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers
- Manage customer expectations from a cost, scope and delivery perspective
- Provide updates on progress to all Stakeholders in the project
- Ensure that the machine build is to plan, as agreed and keep the relevant Stakeholders updated about any problems / challenges at regular intervals, to ensure an overall successful outcome
- Understand and follow the resolution of engineering or supplier problems - Attend customers meetings by Teams or other VC medium - and if strictly necessary in person at site
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations are met, identify and communicate to appropriate stakeholders if there are issues to ensure no possibility of endangering yourself and colleagues
- Assist during customer acceptance visits, coordinate and participate in customer training
- Follow, understand and explain the installation phase of the project to customers and colleagues
- Responsibility for the completion of project snag lists after installation
- Ensure the completion of Field Modification Orders (FMO) and their delivery to site, monitoring successful installation
- Keep accurate and organised records of all aspects of the projects

Details:

- Salary - 23.5k per year - Opportunity to earn lots of overtime at time and a half and double time
- 40 hours per week (days)
- Location - Heywood
- Duration - Permanent

Experience required for the role of Project Coordinator:

- Excellent customer facing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can demonstrate focus on the customer
- Should be able to travel if required
- Flexibility is required to address business needs
- Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively
- Ability to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues and customers
- Can demonstrate an ability to juggle multiple projects from beginning to end
- Ability to work cross functionally and ensure that departments adhere to the plan
- Has excellent organisational skills and demonstrates an ability to work to structured deadlines
- High level attention to detail
- Has experience of working within tight budgets
- Demonstrates can take ownership / accountability
