Supporting a Director and Project Managers in administration, procurement and planning to ensure smooth and efficient running of office and ongoing projects.

This role is an integral role to the smooth running of the office and business, and as such previous experience is essential in a similar role and a proven track record of organisational and administrative skills is required.

The role will also ideally encompass the fire marshall and first aider for the office.

Main Duties
- Main point of contact in office for internal and external calls and visitors
- Procurement of supplies, materials, and services for projects and office
- Booking of accommodation and other travel purchases required
- Scheduling of reactive and planned works onto calendar and labour planner.
- Ensuring all works covered in the most time effective and cost effective way
- Administration of supplier details and terms
- Liaising with HR and payroll on administration of new staff, ensuring timesheet accuracy, holiday entitlement etc
- Working with accounts to ensure effective and timely deadlines are met
- Ensuring subcontractor time sheets accurate and on time
- Ensuring purchase invoicing checked and authorised by relevant person
- Ensuring spreadsheets accurately updated on a timely basis
- Looking after credit card and employee expenses ready for accounts processing
- Any reports requested by accounts for costing purposes completed
- New subcontractor supplier CIS information.
- H&S administration, including certification monitoring and requesting from employees updated information.
- Providing the director and project managers with administrative support in their rolls, arranging meetings, typing of quotations etc
- Ensuring main office housekeeping policies are enforced to ensure minimum standard is kept

**Essential Qualities**
- Proven Excel and Microsoft skills to at least an intermediate level
- Organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- 2 Years previous administration experience

**Desirable Qualities**
- Knowledge of construction industry
- Knowledge of basic accounts principles

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
