**We are looking for two Patient Administrators to join the team at our state-of-the-art Oncology centre based in Oxford, OX4.**

As the Patient Administration Officer (PAO) you will undertake all administrative and reception activities required along with providing excellent customer care to patients and visitors attending the Centre.

**What you’ll do**:

- Work closely with consultants and secretaries to provide support in the patient pathway.
- Appropriately direct all incoming calls and participate in all reception duties
- Collaborate with PAO colleagues ensure consistent cover for the centre’s reception.
- Liaise with insurance companies to ensure all insurance cover is verified.
- Liaise with consultants, secretaries, radiographers and nursing staff regarding new patient and review clinics, follow-up clinics and during treatment courses.
- Act as point of contact for all patients ensuring a professional and efficient service.

**What you’ll have**:
**Experience and Skills**:

- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience managing a busy reception area
- Experience in a customer focused environment
- Strong relationship building skills
- Experience within a diverse range of administrative roles
- Evidence of an empathetic and holistic approach to patient care
- Experience with resolving complaints satisfactorily

**Qualifications and Knowledge**:

- Experience of using Mosaic IT package
- Be proficient in all MS office packages including, but not limited to, Word, Excel & Outlook
- Ideally have previously worked within the healthcare sector
