**Type**: Permanent

A large and well known Logistics group are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join their accounts team based out of Spalding. You must be able to work to strict deadlines in a pressurised environment and have great attention to detail. You'll be selfstarter with the ability to work using your own initiative. Must have an understanding of MS Office including Excel and Word.

There a 2 roles available. One is within the Sales Ledger team and the other in the Purchase Ledger team. Both are in the same office with identical packages.

**The Sales Ledger position**

To accurately maintain and in a timely manner, raise invoices ensuring un-invoiced levels are kept to a minimum. Maintaining and promoting good working relationships with customers and offering a high standard of customer service.

**Key Role Responsibilities**:

- Generate weekly auto invoice runs from operational computer system
- Generate weekly and monthly invoices and associated reports for main accounts
- Originate pre-invoice information to send to customers for agreement, ensuring timely dispatching of invoices
- Produce sales invoices for fuel, vehicle wash, rent and recharges
- Manage un-invoiced levels
- Produce adhoc reports and complete Sales Ledger duties

**The Purchase Ledger position**

Responsible for maintaining and recording accurate records for Purchase Ledger.

**Key Role Responsibilities**:

- Post, code and input all incoming unapproved invoices
- Matching of invoices to purchase orders
- Posting of payments and journals
- Answering telephone enquiries in a professional and informative manner
- Reconciling supplier's statements with ledger accounts
- Generate weekly/monthly payment runs when required

**Essential Requirements for both roles**
- Good standard of education including Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent qualifications
- Ability to confidently communicate at all different levels
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
- Fantastic attention to detail and flexible on taking on new tasks
- Good sense of initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
- Knowledge of Sales or Purchase ledger would be advantageous
- Experience of working in a past paced office environment would be advantageous
