We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual that is keen on impacting lives of vulnerable young people and adults at risk of homelessness. We are currently recruiting for a **Regional Volunteering & Mentoring Co-ordinator** to joinour team on a part-time (22.5 hours), permanent basis. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £24,904.00 Per Annum (Pro Rata) Plus Pension and Other Benefits.

Depaul UK works with some of the most disadvantaged young people in the UK. We specialise in working in communities where poverty and long-term unemployment have resulted in generations of social exclusion and high rates of homelessness

Over the past 30 years, we have grown as an organisation and developed and enhanced our work and the impact it has across the UK.Depaul UK has a wide range of services for young people and adults at risk of homelessness.

**The Regional Volunteering and Mentoring Co-ordinator Role:**

This is an extremely exciting role where you will take responsibility for recruitment and interviewing potential volunteers and getting them onboarded; thereby ensuring that our regional services have significant volunteer input.

You will deliver in-depth induction and training programme for volunteers and provide support and supervision to them. In addition, you will act as a key point of contact with internal and external partners.

Please note that your place of work will be Depaul Regional Office in Manchester City Centre; however, you will spend two days per month in our Sheffield Regional Office. Also, there will be frequent travel to all Depaul projects in these regions and occasionalNational Travel.

This role will be on a rota basis and it includes working evening and weekend**_._**

**About our Regional Volunteering and Mentoring Co-ordinator**:
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- Managing significant volunteering and/or mentoring activity in a charitable and/ or corporate setting
- Experience working with young people or people who are homeless
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in delivering set targets and outcomes
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and anti-discriminatory working practices, and the implications of both in the working environment
