**About the Role***

As Head of Infrastructure, you will be working within the Totally IM&T. You will have key responsibility for the management and improvement of the WAN, LAN, SAN and VOIP platforms. The infrastructure manager will be responsible for developing and delivering Infrastructure and Security strategies that are cost effective and meet the business requirements. They will line manage the Infrastructure Team and work closely with the Head of Service Delivery to resolve ongoing complex incidents and problems.

**Your Day to Day***
- Manage and maintain the infrastructure 24/7 within budget and in accordance with defined SLAs
- Infrastructure capacity planning and reporting
- Lead the effective planning and implementation of all changes to the infrastructure
- Support in production and continual review of the IM&T Budget
- Technical lead on all Service Mobilisations
- Oversee infrastructure incident management
- Lead the Infrastructure Change programme
- Manage all Infrastructure Projects
- Perform all appraisals and objective settings with infrastructure engineers
- Perform regular 1-2-1’s with infrastructure engineers
- Ensure systems are effectively backed up and the backups are regularly tested
- Ensure the infrastructure complies with and is in accordance with Totally’s Information Governance and Information Security policies
- Contribute to the overall production and testing of the Business continuity and Disaster recovery plans
- Produce Infrastructure Strategy in conjunction with Director of IM&T and Digital Transformation
- Produce Security Strategy in conjunction with Director of IM&T and Digital Transformation
- Produce Policies and procedures in regard to IT Infrastructure and IT Security systems in line with ISO27001 accreditation
- Lead on Cyber Essentials accreditation
- Ensure effective system monitoring is in place and alerts are actioned in a timely manner
- Provide weekly and monthly analysis reporting
- Contribute to the identification, management, and resolution of IM&T risks and act as a part of the digital risk management team
- Ensure all security policies and procedures are enforced and breaches are reported
- Proactively seek opportunities from across the organisation to improve the infrastructure
- Manage all key infrastructure supplier relationship, including defining scope of projects, ensuring compliance with SLAs
- Ensure availability of business critical elements of the infrastructure in line with agreed SLA’s
- Be responsible for maintaining documentation and change control processes associated with the infrastructure to a high and consistent standard
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT systems by assisting in the implementation and embedding of IT best practice using tools such as ITIL and ISO 27001.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective working relations with all stakeholders
- Develop and maintain effective training plans for Infrastructure engineers
- Contribute to regular on-call function
- Other reasonable duties as required

**Qualification, Experience & Training***
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field of has significant, relevant experience in a related work area
- Microsoft MCSE or equivalent
- Previous experience of managing a large scale IT infrastructure (including networking and telephony) or of working at similar infrastructure at a senior level
- Previous experience of delivering 24/7 availability of infrastructure uptime
- Strong knowledge of networks
- Strong knowledge of Cisco network products
- Strong knowledge of large (2000 user plus) telephony (VOIP Contact Centre)
- Experience of working with ISO standards e.g. ISO9001, ISO27001 etc
- Supplier management
- Experience of managing complex software licensing arrangements
- Office 365 administration and deployment
- Citrix
- Active Directory Administration and group policy
- Windows Server Operating Systems
- VMware
