Our Client are a small group of fast-growing companies, now looking for an ambitious and energetic **HR & People Manager**to join their leadership team and help them create an incredible culture for their people. **Let’s look at the key duties and responsibilities of this role**:
To be the day-to-day HR professional dealing with a wide remit of HR tasks, within a group of dynamic companies, that are fast paced. The job holder will need to be highly agile in their working processes and be able to respond quickly to developing focusesprovided by the individual business leaders.
- To deliver the "people plan" in line with business and corporate objectives across all businesses.
- To deliver an effective and comprehensive HR service to the group companies.
- To work closely alongside the key stakeholders in each business
- To be able to deliver the anticipated required resources and activities in order to be able to support the growth strategy.
- Provide knowledge and expertise concerning employment legislation on fundamental employment issues.
- Deliver the employee advantage programme, co-ordinating activities across the companies and providing regular information and updates to group employees.
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll for the group companies, ensuring accuracy of information.
- Work in conjunction with retained HR consultant.
- Work with the leaders to cultivate both individual and Group organisational culture which promotes exceptional talent, achievement and a high performance ethic whilst maintaining our best place to work ethics.
- To advise and support management team in dealing with people issues.
- To act as a pivotal network point for outside agencies and groups, promoting the companies as a great place to work.
**Other duties**
- Source external training providers, in conjunction with the Business Leaders, ensuring that interventions meet the needs of the business and support the growth strategy.
- To deliver a set of key performance indicators for the business and provide regular reporting and analysis against these on a monthly and quarterly basis
- To maintain knowledge of current and proposed legislation and regulatory requirements and cascade to the team.
- To operate within the guidelines of Health and Safety legislation.
**Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required**
**Key Competencies Required**
- Highly desirable is a CIPD qualification at level 5.
- Essential is a breadth of experience within different sectors, such as call centre, or technology focused business would be highly advantageous.
- Extensive experience of achieving demanding goals in a competitive tender market.
- Great communication skills with experience of influencing key stakeholders
- Proven experience of adapting an organised and planned approach to dealing with a demanding work load.
