A leading multi-national manufacturing business is currently recruiting for a Procurement Specialist - Governance / Excellence / Best Practice based in Cheltenham (hybrid working) on a fulltime permanent basis.

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for governance, excellence and best practice for all processes associated with Indirect and Direct Procurement of goods and materials required to meet the operational demands of the business and the logisticsof ensuring that materials are available for operations, and the completed products/services are delivered to the customer.

The Procurement Governance Specialist will be responsible for the delivery and compliance of the procurement governance framework, policies, and processes, to enable the delivery of procurement and wider organisation objectives.

The Procurement Governance Specialist must effectively maintain, communicate, and continuously improve the framework, policies, and processes, guiding procurement colleagues to adhere and drive these to maximum value.

Role - Procurement Governance Specialist / Procurement Specialist - Governance, Excellence & Best Practice

Type - Permanent position

Location - Cheltenham (hybrid working)

Salary - £45,000-£60,000 (DOE) + benefits

- Proven experience within a procurement role and exposure to either governance, excellence, best practice, risk, or process orientated improvement role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
