Supply Chain Specialist - Permanent - £38,000pa to £42,000pa - Cheltenham - SC Clearance Required

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for selecting Suppliers and managing them through their delivery to project teams. Reporting to the Supply Chain Senior Lead and as a linchpin in the Global Supply Chain Team. You'll have the chance to work on developing their systems and processes as well as supplier relationships to assure supplier delivery. You'll be at the forefront of building foundations to enable positive growth within the UK

Responsibilities:

Accountable for meeting programme schedule and budget commitments through supplier management
Procuring and Subcontracting professional and technical services
Aligning suppliers to, and embedding, the Supplier Management Processes
Monitor and Manage suppliers with supporting data points, underpinning successful delivery into Programmes
Supplier Relationship and Performance Management

We are looking for:

Proven track record of building strong supplier relationships
Evidenced success in negotiating and managing subcontracts
Ability to manage and deliver the Supply Chain aspects of complex programmes
Adept at problem-solving complex issues and developing solutions to a variety of problems
Proactive team worker, equally self-motivated and able to work autonomously

Security clearance:

Due to the nature of our projects, you must be Sole British National for this clearance type.

You must be able to gain and maintain the relevant UK Government security clearance in line with the job role (SC)
