Cambridge, United Kingdom University of Cambridge Full time

This role will be funded by the Leverhulme Trust. You will be part of an international research group focusing on the study of spintronics and magnetism from dc to THz frequencies.

The group is divided into two sub-groups, one focusing on transport and microwave studies, the other one specialised on time-resolved optical/THz studies. We are now advertising for a position on superconducting spintronics. Ideally, you will have a strong background on superconductivity and transport measuring techniques.

Appointment at research associate is dependent on having a PhD including those who have submitted but not yet received their PhD (in which case appointment will initially be made at research assistant and amended to research associate when the PhD is awarded).

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.

The University has a responsibility to ensure that all employees are eligible to live and work in the UK.
