Bond Personnel have an urgent job vacancy with an **IMMEDIATE START **available.

The Production Associate reports to the Production Team Leader. The Production Associate has the responsibility to operate the equipment and all of its affiliated processes (preparing raw materials & packaging, unloading, packing & labelling).

**PRIMARY DUTIES**
- Manual work moving 15 - 20 Boxes of quality control checked items to the dispatch area.
- Preparation of raw materials: Review labels on raw material to ensure correct colour, lot & batch number before starting creeling onto a tufting machine.
- Carry out operation process checks to ensure machines are operating within production parameters.
- Operating equipment: verify and load materials in line with process instructions and procedures, take samples, unload materials and pack.
- Document process figures and results.
- Performing quality control of products, from various processes, performing necessary adjustments according to existing procedures and reporting them to the Team Leader.
- Carry out all operations with compliance to the Quality and Operating procedures of Milliken and reinforce those rules with peers. Ensure initial testing of products is completed and that there are no deviations to specifications.
- Ensure the perfect visual appearance of the finished products to be of the required standard.
- Packaging the final products according to the standard operating procedures and ensure that the final product is of standard quality level of Milliken.
- Maintain high quality expectations regarding all operations and packaging of the final product and encourage peers to do likewise.
- Maintain general housekeeping of plant and work area.
- Compliance with all legal and company EHS policies and procedures, reporting any deviation from safety instructions to ensure a secure working environment.
- Contributing to excellent teamwork across the site.
- Carry out any other duties which may be requested from the Production Manager.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Educated to a basic standard Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand work orders, standard operating procedures, safety regulations, quality procedures and instructions
- Rotating shifts - Mornings, afternoons & nights
- Manual work and lifting required.

**Working hours**
- 12 hour shift patterns rotating weekly.
- Week 1: 6am - 6pm Tues, Wed Thurs.
- Week 2: 6pm - 6am Mon, Tues, Wed & Thurs 6am - 12am

**SALARY & BENEFITS**
- £11.05 per hour for all hours
