Principal Clinical Psychologist

The service users who are referred to YPWD often have complex mental and physical health histories and as a senior clinician there will be an expectation that you will provide specialist assessment, psychological formulation and intervention, team consultation and training. You will also belong to a wider group of clinical psychologists and psychological therapists who work in different areas of OPS and who have shared aims and objectives to support colleagues in the psychological care of service users. Supervision will be offered within a peer neuropsychological supervision group as well as 1:1 supervision for clinical cases. As a professional group we have strong links with the Leeds DClinPsy course and regularly offer trainee placements, with opportunities for training, supporting doctoral theses, and commissioning Service Evaluation projects.
