**Working pattern**: 37 hours per week. Term time plus inset days
**Actual starting salary (calculated pro rata)**: £19,185 per annum.
- Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments_

**Can you contribute to the smooth running of our academy**

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Administrator to support our Pastoral Team and work closely with our Safeguarding Team.

**This is a varied role and duties will include**:

- Accurately maintaining system records including Safeguarding and the Academy's attendance system
- Promote attendance and follow up absences in line with Academy Guidelines
- General administration duties including the completion of statistical information
- Regular liaison with teaching staff and local authority staff
- Call handling - receiving and managing calls of a sensitive and confidential nature

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- Previously worked within a school environment and has an understanding Safeguarding
- The ability to work in a discreet and sensitive manner
- Effective communication skills and has the ability to form positive working relationships
- A positive 'can do' attitude
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- Works accurately with great attention to detail
- A working knowledge of SIMS is desirable, although not essential
