Our client is looking for a Competence & Training Co-ordinator on a 3 month contract basis, located in Aberdeen.

**ROLE**

The Competence & Training Coordinator is responsible for the provision of coordination & administrative support to the Competence & Training department, who support all Onshore and Offshore Training and Competency requirements within the company. This role requires a pro-active attitude and the ability to adapt to varying workflow volumes. A certain level of autonomy and strong communication skills are expected as the teams supported by this role are at various locations globally at both On and Offshore worksites. The role is measured by the ability to provide the business with the means to ensure our employees and contractors are competent and trained to carry out their role, and assurance that the Company has the ability to successfully demonstrate Competence of the workforce to standards expected by Industry, Legislation, Regulation and Client expectations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

General
- Monitor the C&T shared mailbox actioning correspondence and responding to personnel within an appropriate timescale.
- Provide general administration support to the C&T department.
- Prepare Letters of Appointment for approval of Signatories and issue to Personnel prior to project mobilisation.
- Deputise for the C&T Advisor when operationally required.
- Raise Purchase Orders.
- Responsible for submitting ECITB Commitments using the ECITB Levy Employer portal to assist the C&T Manager in maximizing Return on Investment (ROI) on Levy paid.
- Liaise with the C&T Advisor and ECITB Account Manager to ensure all training cost commitments and claims are submitted in a timely manner.
- Track, monitor and progress report on Offshore Performance Appraisals within Onboard Tracker liaising with the Offshore Data Admin to coordinate requirements.

Compliance & Assurance
- Responsible for ensuring all Mandatory Training Requirements are met and in compliance with the Master Training Matrix.
- Assist the OPO department with the preparation and issuance of Project Certification Matrices ensuring compliance KPI’s are achieved.
- Liaise with the OPO department to identify personnel being allocated to upcoming projects and ensure that all Certification is in place prior to mobilisation, highlighting any potential causes for concern in a timely manner.
- Follow up with Offshore Personnel on any outstanding documentation, certification and contractual information ensuring personnel records are accurate and profiles hold all required information.
- Provide the C&T Manager with Compliance Reports and data.
- Compliance with all company SHEQ policies and procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring any potential non-compliances or issues are known & highlighted in an appropriate timescale to the C&T Manager.

**Training Administration & Coordination**
- Monitoring, recording and reporting of Training and Competency requirements via the Subsea Competence and Learning Management Systems for all Onshore and Offshore Personnel.
- Responsible for the monitoring, tracking and recording of training related certification using the appropriate system (Onboard Tracker, Training Portal, etc).
- Record, track and monitor validity periods of training, qualification and medical certification ensuring that personnel are contacted in a reasonable time prior to expiry.
- Coordinate training bookings and issuance of joining instructions to delegates.
- Track, monitor and record vessel and role specific Inductions & Familiarisation records.

**E Learning**
- Responsible for registering personnel to the Company E Learning Training portal for courses relevant to their role (Onshore and Offshore Requirements).
- Track, monitor and report on E Learning completions.
- Assist in the creation of Company Specific E Learning training content.
- Assist in the review and update of E Learning training content.

**REQUIREMENTS**

The following criteria is required to be evidenced as a minimum requirement to undertake the role. Proof of Training, Qualification and Certification is required to be verified before an individual can be appointed by the Company.
- Previous experience working in a similar capacity within the Offshore Industry
- Experience and/or knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Standards
- Relevant experience working with Training, Competence Management Systems and Processes
- Demonstrated experience in the role of C&T Coordinator or administrator
- Desirable - Knowledge and experience of Apprenticeship and ECITB Levy
- Demonstrated ability in managing a variety of tasks and objectives to a high level in a fast paced and changing environment
- Competent in the use of Microsoft packages with a strong focus on Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint Presentation, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part
