Groups, Conference and Events Executive

Do you have previous group sales, meetings or conference booking experience using Opera PMS/S&C & ORS Systems, & are you comfortable multi-tasking your way through a fast-paced workload whilst delivering an array of different guest requirements alongside the hotels Ops team..?
- **Key responsibilities of our Groups Conference and Events Executive**:_
- Ensuring all charges are raised and paid for following established procedures
- Upselling bedroom types & other hotel services at every opportunity, ensuring accuracy of details on all reservations
- To accept, process & manage Group reservations to ensure maximum revenue and occupancy
- To be the main point of contact for Groups between Hotel and The Client
- Developing and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues & clients
- Dealing with any guest feedback or requests in a professional and efficient way
This position is a full time role with a general Monday-Friday working pattern but may also require occasional evening/weekend work as required by our clients (for appointments, show rounds etc.)
- **To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow**:_
- Previous experience of PMS i.e. Opera
- Organisational skills based around administration
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- A positive and approachable attitude with a commitment to delivering high quality customer service
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Fluent English both verbally and written
**About the Hotel**
Housed in the magnificent Grade II listed Central Buildings, dating back to 1884, the beautifully restored boutique hotel is steeped in history. The Beatles-inspired hotel features elegantly furnished and individually decorated rooms with specially commissioned artwork.
The hotel’s flagship restaurant, Blakes, is named after pop artist Sir Peter Blake who created the artwork for the cover of the Sgt Peppers album cover. Guests can indulge in a delicious meal whilst surrounded by wall to wall Beatles artwork. The hotel has 2 bars, Bar Four, one of Liverpool’s premier cocktail bars and The Lounge & Bar which hosts some of the city’s top acoustic musicians every Friday and Saturday night.
