Primary Mental Health Worker

Northumberland, United Kingdom Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Northumbria Healthcare Foundation Trust has a number of exciting opportunities for Band 6 Primary Mental Health Workers (CAMHS clinicians). These posts are available due to the expansion of the early intervention and prevention offers to children and young people across the County. The role will provide targeted 1:1 and group based evidenced based interventions to support those with moderate mental health needs, within the 'getting help sector 'of the Thrive model.

We are looking for enthusiastic clinicians who are committed to delivering innovative and transformational ways of working, to build on our successful core offers and involvement in national trailblazer programmes. This includes supporting the delivery of our Be You Mental Health Teams in schools' programmes in trailblazer sites and supporting early help prevention offers within the 01-9 family hub models.

Our staff are based in Childrens Centres and work from a number of health bases across the County (including Blyth, Ashington, Hexham, Hadstone and Berwick) to promote closer working with our universal services and future opportunities for co-delivery of programmes. Please note this role requires travel across all sites mentioned above.

We support a blended /hybrid model of office and home working to promote flexible working recognizing the value of home life balance.
