**Rate of Pay**

The current salary is **£39,000.00 **per annum, you will be contracted to work 40 hours per week with shifts across Monday to Friday. You will be paid monthly by credit transfer to your nominated bank account.

**Hours of work**

You will be contracted to work a minimum of **40 hours** per week to be worked over a working week Monday to Friday which will include working some public/bank holidays as may be necessary. This role will be shift hours which are discussed with you at the interview stage. You will be paid monthly by credit transfer to your nominated bank account.

**Holiday Entitlement**

You will be entitled to **four working weeks’ **holiday plus the **8 statutory days **per year.

Pivotal operate a specialist fleet of vans and are looking to appoint a fleet vehicle mechanic to work in our maintenance facility in Montgomery Road, Belfast and our Dublin Branch (Travel will be required)

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Manage the day to day operation of vehicles
- Carry out routine vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure that all vehicles are road-worthy
- Investigate any issues highlighted by drivers and take the appropriate action
- Identify Mechanical and Electrical issues as required
- Maintain full and accurate maintenance records
- Repair vehicles to a high standard and with minimum downtime
- Attend or organise breakdown recovery for any necessary vehicles out on the road
- Liaise with suppliers to order parts and equipment as and when required
- Carry out security checks and repairs on vehicles - training will be provided

**Essential Criteria**
- Qualification as a Motor Mechanic
- B Driving licence (as minimum)
- 3 years’ experience in an equivalent role
- Must be able to work on own initiative and produce work to a high standard
- Basic office/computer skills required to ensure accurate vehicle records are maintained
- High degree of attention to detail
- Full 10 year checkable employment/academic history
- Proven ability to communicate well and effectively lead a team
- Ability to work under time pressures and on own initiative.
