Would you like to make a difference to a patients stay in hospital? You could help patients have a better experience because, as a member of the ward team, you will be involved in the patients direct care and assist their recovery throughout their stay in hospital. No formal qualification is required but a genuine interest in caring and communication is essential. A comprehensive induction is provided.

Rosemary Ward is a 33 bedded inpatient within Newmarket Community Hospital and. West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust as part of the West Suffolk Alliance are responsible for the delivery of both acute and community services.

This is an exciting new role and we are looking to recruit an Activity Co-ordinator to work alongside the ward nursing and therapy teams.

We provide in-patient facilities in a non-acute environment offering re-ablement and further assessment. Our aim is to promote and return our patients to independence after an acute illness, to ensure successful discharge with the appropriate support for them to continue to live as independently as they are able for as long as they are able.

This exciting new role will further enhance the well-being of our patients and support their return to independence.
