The Nursery Assistant will work in partnership with the Room Leader to:

- Contribute to a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in the nursery
- Ensure all children are safeguarded at all times whilst simultaneously promoting their welfare and safety.
- Support all team members within the nursery
- Work within the nursery team to establish an environment enabling children to play, learn and develop whilst expressing their individuality.
- Committed to providing high-quality childcare and early years learning.
- Enthusiastic and committed
- An effective communicator
- Have a desire and capability to achieve the highest standards in child care
- A strong commitment to safeguarding children
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting (not essential)
- Have the ability to work as part of a team to ensure essential day to day tasks are completed in line with nursery policies.

**Qualifications**:

- Working towards a full and relevant level 2 qualification (essential)
