Health & Safety Co-ordinator

**Requirements**:
- Possession of excellent communication skills
- Must have good interpersonal skills to be able to get along with other workers within the organisation.
- Must be able to prioritize and multi-task.
- Must be someone that pays attention to details.
- Have some knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
- Possess basic knowledge of general safety law (Health and Safety at Work Act, RIDDOR, CDM 2015)
- Have basic safety training (CSCS).
- Ideally be working towards health and Safety certifications.
- Have a full clean driving licence.
- Good leadership qualities are necessary to succeed in this position.
Duties to include:
- Ensure compliance with the latest H&S regulations and guidance.
- Assist with the development of Company policies.
- Develop and produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Help with compliance to the CDM 2015 regulations and the development of Construction Phase Plans
- Monitor adherence to safety, Environmental and Quality policies, and guidelines.
- Maintain Plant and equipment records and assist with premise management.
- Attend site to perform safety audits and record and monitor results and issues.
- Intervene in correcting unsafe work practices.
- Maintain records of all safety-related issues and ensure that corrective measures are taken.
- Organize and assist in routine training on HSEQ matters for the staff of the organization.
Opportunity:

- Ideally willing and working towards health and Safety certification (IOSH / NEBOSH).
- Must be willing to continue Professional development and gain and maintain professional memberships (IOSH, IEMA, IIRSM etc)

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
