Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists in providing patient care and ensuring the safe and efficient administration of medications. **Duties**:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Perform medication inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering inquiries and addressing concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication therapy
- Prepare prescription labels and packages for patients
- Assist in the maintenance of pharmacy equipment and supplies
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician program is preferred
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or related role is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices

**Skills**:

- Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate care to patients and address their needs effectively.
- Medication administration: Proficiency in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
- Pharmacy technician: Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including inventory management, prescription processing, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.50-£12.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 22.5 per week
