**Pay Rate**:£21 - £27 per hour (assignment rate)

**Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist/SLT**:

- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Experience of community services and working in the NHS and has mainstream school/or pre school/special school
- Experience of SLCN and neurodiverse client group as well as CYP with complex needs
- Experience and implementation of a range of SLT assessments and interventions and MDT working

**Duties**:

- Assessment of new referrals to the service (children and young people aged 0-19 years with SLCN)
- Identification of needs and development of treatment plans for a range of needs
- Speech and Language therapy interventions
- SLT reviews
- Completion of onward referrals as required
- Completion of reports
- Education Health and Care plan assessment and advice reports
