Materials Controller

Sonomatic are looking for a Materials Controller to join the team in Grangemouth, to coordinate the movement of materials between departments whilst working in collaboration with other departments in the company to perform their duties effectively.
**This position's duties include**:
- Creating records of materials' movements in the company
- Negotiating with vendors
- Carrying out safety checks
- Ensuring operations follow company and industry regulations
- Maintaining all aspects of equipment and stores in accordance with company procedures and company held accreditation.
- Responsible for logistics of equipment as and when required including international shipping and customs clearance.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy store environment.
- Actively participate in promoting and maintaining the Company’s high standards for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
- Carrying out administrative duties related to current position.
- Seeking and creating any opportunities for the benefit of Sonomatic, inc but not limited to sales and marketing, attending training, conferences etc
**Essential Skills**:
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Equipment Control Systems
- Knowledge of NDT Techniques advantageous
- Knowledge of Rope Access Equipment advantageous
- Knowledge of COSHH advantageous
- Strong commitment to developing personal skills
- Ability to deliver consistently high-quality results in a production environment under constantly changing requirement and tight schedule conditions
**Essential Experience**:
- Experience of working in a goods receiving / stores environmental - Minimum 3 Years
- Ability to work on their own initiative and work well in a team environment
- Excellent organisation skills as well as being able to prioritise workloads
- Knowledge & Experience in MS Packages e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook
- Conducted Purchase Order Requisition Maintenance and assisted buyers with questions related to purchase activity
