Company Description

We have an excellent opportunity to join us during a time of even further investment in our Warehouse Automation. We are looking to build a Technical Operations team, you may know these as First Time Fixers or even Jam Busters in the traditional sense, supporting our skilled Engineering team.

You’ll be critical in maintaining a consistent operation by supporting in both planned and reactive maintenance activities on our equipment. You will take a proactive approach to evaluating equipment, ensuring safety and reliability, promoting a continuous improvement culture and playing a crucial role in the success of Frasers Group.

Training of an initial 2 weeks classroom based provided, you'll be granted with level 2 technical certification (preparing to work in the engineering and manufacturing Industry - PWEMI) upon successful completion.

**Job Description**:
**Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off (rotation of days / nights)**
- Initial fault diagnosis of breakdowns, stoppages and carrying out blockage clearance, first line fixes in a timely manner to ensure mínimal downtime.
- Actively working to optimise the automation performance.
- Completing all reports in line with requirements using CMMS (ARMS) and Microsoft software packages.
- Working safely through compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Actively supporting the continuous improvement programme, generating ideas.
- Supporting site meetings as required.
- Performing routine cleaning, quality checks and basic maintenance tasks

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of automated material handling systems would be preferred
- Ability or experience to work comfortably at height
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a time critical environment
- Effective time and workload management skills
- PC literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
