Wood is recruiting for a Support Services Administrative Assistant to join the team in Hull on a 12 month fixed term contract. Reports to - Support Services Manager Main Purpose of Job: Provides administrative and office support, to facilitate the efficient operation of gas storage sites.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Provide efficient and effective administration and office support to the site teams.
- Undertake other administrative duties as required by your line Manager or the Gas storage Leadership Team

**Decision Making Authority**

Outline the most important decisions typically expected to be taken.
- Prioritization of tasks to ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
- Which issues to escalate to line manager for consideration and when?

Outline the most important recommendations expected to be made for others to decide on
- Identify and suggest potential improvements to task or processes.
- Recommend solutions to resolve issues which are referred to manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
**Business Knowledge**:

- Awareness of SSE’s activities and objectives
- Knowledge of relevant company procedures and systems, specifically for finance, IT, personnel, and training

**Essential Functional / Technical Skills**:

- Experience of providing administrative support to a business.
- 5 or more A-C grade GCSE’s
- Knowledge of business and technical English, punctuation, and spelling
- Knowledge of IT program's including
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.
- Finance IT systems.
- Good administrative, oral, and written communication skills
