**About the Role**

The Learner Events Coordinator role is a crucial part of the Learner Experience team and assists in the encouragement of students to participate in activities to complement their studies and enhance their College experience.

The role will involve working across college to encourage student engagement and involvement with a range of activities, club events and associations related to learners personal, social development, health, wellbeing, employment and entrepreneurial development.In addition, the Learner Events Coordinator will be responsible for co-ordinating and contributing to the College learner voice strategy by leading on Social Action activities.

You will promote the activities within college to enrich the learners experience and develop the profile of Social Action within the group alongside other organisations to train and recruit learners for voluntary positions. You will work with internal teamsto develop the depth of projects taking place and with the apprenticeships team to ensure activities are recorded and evaluated.

**You will have previous experience working with young people in a support, mentor or coaching role. You will be able to develop effective relationships with colleagues, external and internal stakeholders as this is key in the Learner Events Coordinatorrole to be successful in your activities and the impact you have on our students.**

**Department Info**

The Learner Events Coordinator will report into the Senior Social Action and Activities Coordinator and work as part of the Learner Experience Team. You will work closely with curriculum departments, work-based learning and liaise with external organisations,establishing strong links and good working relationships.
